The organizing body behind the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games (LA28) has expanded its portfolio of tech-focused partners courtesy of a deal with cloud data firm Snowflake.
Snowflake, which has also partnered with the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee through the deal, will serve as LA28 and Team USA’s official data collaboration provider, applying its AI data cloud solutions across the games to enable greater digital collaboration.
This will grant Team USA a centralized platform for its athlete management resources, such as training data, and additionally, will host fan data to aid in fan engagement activations from the team.
LA28 as a whole will also benefit, with the data collaboration allowing for better planning and delivery of the games’ events.
Speaking on the deal, US Olympic and Paralympic Properties chief executive, John Slusher, said: “As we progress toward 2028, our capabilities will continue to evolve, and the opportunities to collaborate with Snowflake on data collaboration enhancements are paramount.
“This partnership enables us to scale efficiently and achieve our innovation goals for LA28 and Team USA.”

Furthermore, the Team USA element of the partnership will also cover the upcoming Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, with Saatva serving as the official mattress and restorative sleep partner of the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee through the games cycle.
